25 years Studio Katja Gruijters: back to the essence

For over 25 years, Katja Gruijters has been developing unique food concepts for the cultural and business sectors. With education as her core value; developing workshops for students and professionals – in the Netherlands and abroad.

Now, after more than 25 years of food design, it is time for a new chapter; with a focus on clearing out, letting go and creating space. We’re saying goodbye to our studio location in De Steeg. Katja will continue to use her wealth of experience in food design for expanding and passing on knowledge and setting up (new) collaborations.

A new phase: sharing, connecting and inspiring

With 25 years of experience, knowledge and collected stories, Katja is taking the next step. She is available as guest lecturer, workshop leader or innovation starter in the Netherlands and around the globe. To develop inspiring projects for and with students, professionals and organisations who want to innovate in the fields of food, sustainability and health.

"Cleaning up allows us to breathe. It provides room for growth, development and real connections," says Katja. "I cannot wait to visit you with my suitcase."

A suitcase full of ideas

Katja goes mobile, on the road with a suitcase full of insights, practices and creative tools – carefully collected during decades of design and research. She aims to inspire knowledge institutions, companies and governments to look differently at food, nature and health. Katja is looking forward to amazing adventures and (new) collaborations.
