North Veluwe lunch: ground elder, 7 municipalities, 7 producers

Recently, we organised a meeting in the North Veluwe region. At an interactive lunch at Telgt Winery, a new regional programme boosting local products was presented. During the courses, the plan was laid out. Both lunch and programme were received with great enthusiasm.

During the luncheon, we used the ground elder as a symbol for connection. It is a wild plant that has 7 leaves at the bottom of its stem. These leaves represent the 7 participating municipalities, each with their own local producer. We used their products to create a delicious menu.

We started with stuffed vine leaves from the winery, followed by a minestrone soup from Ermelo and a cheese tasting from Elburg. For dessert, everyone got to enjoy a thick yogurt with fresh fruit from Putten.
