Cremation took place for the first time in the 1950s. Unfortunately, crematoria are often very clinical and businesslike. Katja Gruijters visualized a different way of looking at the ritual. With more natural routing, so the bereaved are able to make choices in every phase of saying their final goodbyes and beginning the mourning process.
