Route description

By car from the Amsterdam ring road (A10)
By car from the Amsterdam ring road (A10) Take the ring A10 Oost (East), exit S114 Zeeburg. Then follow Centrum, keeping in the right-hand lane in the Piet Hein tunnel. Turn right after the tunnel. This is the Piet Heinkade which later becomes the De Ruyterkade. Keep going straight, through several sets of traffic lights, until you pass Amsterdam Central Station on your left. Take the second left (after a small bridge) under the railway line. Turn right immediately, before the traffic lights, and follow this road along the railway line: the Haarlemmer Houttuinen. Turn right at the first traffic lights to go under the arches. My studio (Tussen de Bogen 25) is nearby and there is paid parking.

Walking from Amsterdam Central Station (15 min)
Turn right when you come out of the station’s front entrance, going past the multi-storey bike park (on your left). Turn left over the bridge and right at the end to go through the tunnel. Then turn right over the first bridge, which leads into the Haarlemmerstraat. After you’ve crossed the Prinsengracht, this becomes the Haarlemmerdijk. Take the first right, the Buiten Oranjestraat. At the end of this street, cross over the Haarlemmer Houttuinen. You will then see my studio (Tussen de Bogen 25).

By bus from Amsterdam Central Station.
Take bus 18 (to Slotervaart) or bus 22 (to Zaanstraat), and get off at the Buiten Oranjestraat bus stop. This stop is on the Haarlemmer Houttuinen, right in front of my studio (Tussen de Bogen 25).
